How to find the right size

Sizes differ between brands and models. Use this page as general guidance and always check the size chart on the product page before you order – it shows the brand-specific measurements.

Jackets and trousers (EU sizes)

Measure over light clothing with a soft tape measure:

• Chest: around the widest part of the chest, under the arms.
• Waist: around your natural waistline, where you usually wear trousers.
• Inside leg: from the crotch to the floor, without shoes.

In EU numeric sizing, the size number is roughly half the chest (jackets) circumference in cm. Typical values – they vary by brand:

Many Nordic brands use C sizes (regular fit, e.g. C46–C62) and D sizes (shorter leg and fuller waist, e.g. D96–D124) for work trousers. If you wear the jacket over warm layers in winter, choose the larger size.

Safety boots (EU sizes)

1. Stand on a sheet of paper wearing the socks you use at work.
2. Mark the back of the heel and the tip of the longest toe.
3. Measure the distance in cm. Measure both feet in the evening and use the longer one.

Approximate foot length per EU size:

Safety toe caps do not stretch, so the boot must not press at the toes. With thick winter socks, allow 1–1.5 cm extra length.

Work gloves (EN 420 sizes 6–11)

Glove sizes follow EN 420 / EN ISO 21420. Measure your dominant hand:

• Circumference: around the palm just below the knuckles, without the thumb.
• Length: from the wrist crease to the tip of the middle finger.

If you are between sizes, take the larger size for winter gloves worn with a liner.
