Collection: ESD Safety Shoes

ESD safety shoes and boots that lead static charge safely to the floor – for electronics work, technical rooms and sites where the client requires ESD footwear. S3, S3S and winter models with the ESD marking.

What makes a shoe ESD?

An ESD shoe has an electrical resistance below 100 MΩ (EN 61340-5-1, tested to EN 61340-4-3). Every ESD shoe is also antistatic, but an ordinary antistatic S3 shoe (100 kΩ – 1000 MΩ) is not automatically ESD. Look for the ESD symbol next to the EN ISO 20345 marking.

Who needs ESD footwear?

  • Electronics assembly, repair and installation
  • Work in ESD protected areas (EPA)
  • Technical rooms with sensitive equipment, when the client's rules require it

ESD shoes do not protect against electric shock. Live electrical work needs insulating footwear to EN 50321-1.
